Why Rod Stone?

When you are considering selling your home, please keep in mind that the investment you have in your home is probably your family's single largest investment. As such, it deserves the best professional attention you can enlist to represent your interest. If you have legal matters to consider, you don't have the time or working knowledge to manage these matters on your own. When your child is deathly sick, Aunt Sallie will not be the last answer. If your plumbing or heating breaks down, maybe Uncle Harry, this time around, should be your last choice.

It then follows that when it comes time to sell your home, calling on a seasoned real estate professional only makes sense. A past experience in either buying or selling real estate that has left you with a bad attitude towards real estate agents in general should not and must not deter you from seeking out that representation.

You may not agree with this thought but here it is anyway. "You were partly to blame." You're probably like the average person when it came to seeking out that assistance. Your interview process consisted of talking with one agent, and you barely got past the question, "What company are you with?" The company named was a big local company, therefore this must be a good agent.

You should interview prospective agents, ask them questions and have in writing what is to be done on your behalf. Also, it should be in writing what recourse you have if your agent is not carrying out their duties as outlined in your written performance contract. This must carry forth to include friends or family members that are real estate agents. If you treasure that friendship, consider what would happen to that friendship if for some reason your objectives or goals were not being realized. Would you have the freedom to confront that person or even fire that person as your representative?

When you list your home, you're putting your home in the hands of a single agent, not the company he or she happens to be with. Therefore, explore with that agent their plan of action that will be invoked in order to secure and meet your objectives. Become comfortable and knowledgeable with how this agent will facilitate protecting your interests, your family's security, and at the same time attracting qualified, genuine buyers.

My approach to marketing your property can be summed up in four words

Presentation
Experience
Attitude
Service

Presentation:      My approach to marketing is both aggressive and new age. The typical approach will offer you a sign, some ads, an occasional open house, and, oh yes, a lot of hot air. I will offer you the maximum exposure, the least amount of hassle, and maximum effort to achieve your goals and objectives.

20-Point Plan
30-Day Marketing Plan

Experience:       Years of professional real estate experience have developed and sharpened my people skills and extensive knowledge of our local real estate market. To date I have been involved in the Anchorage real estate market for over 28 years. My experience will allow you to take advantage of an historical and present-day view of our local real estate market. This unique perspective will be of great value to you when I help you to understand current market conditions and trends. Timing is everything in this business, and my experience at this point will make you money.

Attitude:      I take pride in the fact that I am a "Full Service", full time real estate agent. By this, I mean I am equally capable and willing to assist you both in a buying or selling situation. My goal is to assist you in such a way as to hopefully make you a life long client, not a one-time deal or ordeal.

Service:      In the final analysis, I understand that the only thing I have to offer you is a service. My service will include, but is not be limited to, preparing you and your property to compete in the open market place; helping you understand current market trends, both the good and the ugly; allowing you to explore and offer some unique buyer incentives; and gaining an in-depth understanding of market conditions and market values. All of this is built on continuous two-way communication. In the final analysis, the value of my service will be most appreciated when I have successfully coached you to a satisfactory, profitable conclusion.

Why should you consider listing your property with Rod Stone, "Mr. Real Estate"?

The answer is one word - "Peas". That's real estate talk meaning excellence, job well done, or just service above and beyond. When you consider Presentation, Experience, Attitude, and Service, your choice of a real estate professional should be a no-brainier.
